Scott when looking for our Samuel Scott from Owen Co/Gr.Co.IN.....is this your Samuel D. Scott? Scott, Samuel D., enlisted 23 July 1862 in Greene Co., Company H, 71st Indiana Infantry Regiment. Transferred to Company H, 6th Indiana Cavalry on 23 February 1863. Killed 03 August 1864, Athens, GA while serving with the cavalry. If anyone has information on this Samuel D.
