Inman, 86, Services Planned" [Transcribed on March 22, 2007 by RLJ from microfilm of the original newspaper on file in the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library.] Funeral services for Elza J. INMAN will be conducted Friday afternoon at the Scotland Methodist Church and burial will be in the Scotland Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Jenkins Funeral Home here until the hour of the service. Mr. INMAN passed away at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Tom PORTER, east of Bloomfield, at 1:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon following a three-weeks illness. He was born in Martin County on May 10, 1865, the son of Thomas Henry and Elizabeth (MOWERY) INMAN. He was preceded in death by two wives, Mrs. Rhuia (MATHEWS) INMAN and Mrs. Sally (SIPES) INMAN. Surviving him are three daughters, Mrs. Tom PORTER, who resides on the Ore Branch Road; Mrs. Lura BABB, of Jackson Township, and Mrs. Flossie EDWARDS, of Shoals; four brothers, Verlin, of Bloomington; George and Ivan, of Des Moines, Iowa, and Edward, of Russiaville. The Lester Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of final rites. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
