William Scott entered land title in about 1816 and is mentioned 9 times in this volume in things as "Viewer" for the county road projects, member of a jury, appointment as overseer to the poor, etc.. Pages 116 and 117 give the following account: "...8th of June, 1846, the company was received and was mustered into the Second Begiment of Indiana (Foot) Volunteers on the 22d of June. ... Rousseau's company, E ... Joshua Scott, served in the rebellion, died in the city hospital in Indianapolis in 1885 ..." Page 118 "G. W.
