War of 1812 Veteran: Robert LIVINGSTON b. 1786 VA m. Dianah Juriah ALLSUP he is my 4th GrGrandfather on my Paternal side......was a private in the War of 1812: Robert Livingston is listed as a member of Captain Adam Vickery's Company, Slaughter's Regiment, Kentucky Detached Militia commanded by Lt. Col. Gabriel Slaughter in the war of 1812 in the Battle of New Orleans. Robert and his family came to settle in Greene Co., Beech Creek Twp. sometime after leaving Knox/Wayne Co.KY ca1823......they were established in Beech Cr. Twp. by the 1830 census.
