Yes, I would appreciate the info you have on the William Ellis family. Regarding the Humphreys connections - I have found three diffferent connections with the William Ellis family and the Humphreys. First, William's sister Mary married Hanson Humphreys. Their children included "the" Andrew Hymphreys born March 30, 1821. Second, William's daughter Martha married Hawkins Humphreys. And, third probably the one of which you speak William's son George Washinton Ellis married Mary Janet Denton whos mother was Margaret Rector, aunt Jeanette Rector, and grand father Joseph Rector. Janet's cousin/Joseph's grand daughter/Jeanette's daughter Julia Rector Moss married George Elmer Humphreys. I am not sure what the connections, if any, are between the three different Humphreys lines. I am not aware of any Humphreys in my direct ancestors. William was my ggg grand father and his son Stephen was my gg grand father.
