Surnames: BUTLER Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Ci.2ADE/4454 Message Board Post: All, Thomas Butler died on Dec. 21, 1867 and is buried in the Old Linton Cemetery alongside his wife Mary. Thomas was the Greene Co. Delegate to the 1850-51 Indiana State Constitutional Convention and was also Justice of the Peace, yet there is no listing for he or his wife Mary in "Greene County Indiana Abstract of Wills, 1825-1904". Is this book exhaustive or is there a possiblity that he did indeed leave a will but it just didn't make it into the Abstract? If there is anyone who could do a look-up at the Greene Co.
