This is puzzling me.......can anyone help me figure this out?? I just rec'd a copy of a death cert. from Greene Co.IN that I had sent for : John T. BURKS...b.17 Dec 1844 d. 15 Nov 1928 buried Liberty Cemetery........Cemetery records listed him as John T. BURKS.....and I believed that this was the husband of Sarilda "Sarah" Ann SKINNER Burks also buried at Liberty Cemtery listed as Shrilda A. BURKS b. 2 Mar 1842 d. 14 Feb 1912. What I rec'd was a cert for John L. BURKS......dod and cemetery listed as the same......Here is the Puzzler....his parents were listed as: Joseph BURKS and Lousia SANTIFER......now in my Burks family data I have a Louisa SANDIFER m. Joel R. BURKS 1835 Gr. Co.IN and these are the children I have listed for them: 1 Joel R. Burks 1812 - 1898 .. +Louisa Sandefer 1814 - .. 2 Nancy J Burks 1844 - .. 2 Thomas Burks 1847 - .. 2 Richard Burks 1849 - .. 2 Eliza A. Burks 1853 - .. 2 Joel Burks 1857 - .. 2 Sarrah E.
