Mr. DAILY was born in Ohio where he married Maranda CAIN before coming to Indiana in 1864. He enlisted at the breaking out of the Civil War and served until the end when he was mustered out of service. He came to Greene County whom the CAIN family emigrated from Ohio and settled in Highland Township where he had made his life and followed the occupation of farming.
