Hudson.” [Transcribed 14 Apr 2002 from Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library’s IHS Microfilm Records.] Mrs. William HUDSON, aged about fifty-eight years, died suddenly at her home at Cass, Sullivan County, last Saturday night about 10 o‘clock. She was born and raised in the eastern part of Greene County. When about the age of eighteen she profess faith in Christ and joined the Christian Church at Clifty, Jackson Township, in which she remained a consistent and faithful member till her death. At an earl age she was married to William HUDSON. To this union twelve children were born, all of whom with the husband survive to mourn the loss of a devoted wife and mother. Her husband is a son of the lat John R. HUDSON, deceased of Hobbieville. Mrs. HUDSON’s maiden name was DUKE, she being a sister of John DUKE, and an aunt of William, John and Mack DUKE, of Union Bethel, with whom she visited some four or five weeks ago.
