Sinclair.” [Transcribed 15 Apr 2002 from Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library’s IHS Microfilm Records.] Mary Jane SINCLAIR died Jun 10, 1912, aged sixty-one years, five months and twelve days. She was married in 1886 to Thomas ASHBAUGH with whom she lived for twenty-six years. At an early date she united with the Baptist church, near Switz City, and kept this faith throughout her entire life. Her religion was manifested in love for God and all of God’s creatures. No sacrifice was too great for her to make for her family; no deed of kindness that she might do was left undone. This beautiful memory is left with those who mourn, as a stay and a guide in their hour of darkness. Besides five children of her own, she cared for four motherless children who have always loved her as a mother. These children, a husband, five brothers and three sisters mourn their loss. —Jasonville Leader. — NOTES—RLJ: DEATH RECORDS OF GREENE COUNTY, INDIANA, Health Department, East Spring Street, Bloomfield, IN, Book CH-3, Page 23: Mary Jane ASHBAUGH, b. 29 Dec 1851, Jasonville, IN, died 10 Jun 1912 in Jasonville, IN, buried Lebanon Cemetery, Father—Nelson SINCLAIR, b.
