J. A. Breeden, at the Parsonage. Curtis Welton and Miss Edna Freeman were quietly married yesterday at 5:30 p.m. at the Methodist Parsonage, by the pastor, Rev. J. A. Breeden. At 6:42 the newly-wedded pair left for Chicago. This wedding was the happy ***** of a courtship which began in their school days. Both are graduates of Worthington High School. While it had been long anticipated it was a sudden surprise, as friends did not expect it to occur until next week. In this marriage, two influential families are united. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ham Welton. For several years he has been local agent of the Prudential Insurance Co. and his work has been so successful that he has been offered a promotion. He is a young man of splendid habits, indefatigable energy and sterling character. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Freeman and her beauty and sweetness of disposition have won the admiration and love of a large circle of friends. Upon their return from their wedding journey the happy young couple will, for a time, reside with the bride's parents in their beautiful home on West Main street.
