Daniel FIELDS entered the land on which he lived, of the Government, paying $2 per acre for it. This has been his home continuously from early manhood to the time of his death. He suffered a second stroke of paralysis some days ago, which was the cause of his death. He is survived by four children, two boys and two girls. — Link to a 1908 Biography of Daniel H.
