HENNON was born in Ohio January 22, 1842, and departed this life at his home in Switz City, Indiana, May 6, 1917, being seventy-five years, three months and fourteen days old. When a young man he moved with his parents to Owensburg, Indiana, where on September 28, 1871, he was united in marriage to Roena BROCK, of that place and to this union was born seven children, namely: Mrs. Minnie NEAL, Mrs. Lola OWENS, Cecil, Doyle, Guy and Myrtle HENNON, a little daughter Fern, having preceded him to the great beyond. Mr. HENNON, when a young man united with the Methodist church at Owensburg, and later moved his membership to the Methodist Church of Switz City, having moved with his family to that place twenty-four years ago. When declining health prevented him from meeting in the public congregation he still manifested much interest in the church and Sunday school work, being a trustee in the church at the time of his death. He was a king, congenial and accommodating, was honest in the affairs of life, and his fellowmen, sincere in his friendship, pure in his life and happy in his home. He is survived by the wife, three daughters, three sons, thirteen grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers, and a host of relatives and friends who mourn the departure of a loved one. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Switz City, Tuesday morning, conducted by Rev. DYER, of Lyons, pastor of the church. Interment in the cemetery at that place. — We desire to express our heartfelt thanks to our neighbors and friends who so kindly assisted us during the sickness, death and burial of our dear husband and father.
