He was united in marriage with Helen STREET, April 2, 1918. To them was born one child, Maxine. He was a graduate of the Scotland High School, and was preparing himself as a teacher. Last August while attending school and Indiana University, he was stricken with typhoid fever. He came home to battle with that disease but failed to conquer. Preceding him into the Great Unknown are four brothers and one sister. Two of the brothers reached the age of maturity, while the other two brothers and the sister, died in infancy. He leaves to mourn his departure, his father, mother, wife, and little daughter; one sister, Mrs. Hattie DANIELS, and four brothers, Lee, Ross, Charles and Everett. The funeral services were held on Tuesday morning at the Methodist Church in Scotland by Rev. E. E. ALDRICH, assisted by Rev. E. L. MOORE. — We wish to thank our neighbors and friends who assisted in any way whatever during the sickness and after the death of our beloved husband, father, and son. Mrs. Helen STONE and Maxine.
