That one day a family drove off the ferry and he spent a lot of time in the water rescuing them. As a result he died from pneumonia. I understand that there was a bridge built near where this happened, and it was named the HUFFMAN Bridge. Is there a picture of the bridge. I think that is was near Newberry.
