Taken from clipping printed in Evening World, Bloomfield Indiana. Mary P. ANDERSON, resident of Newberry, died at 5:29pm Friday at the residence of her daugher on Lyons rural route. She was 88 years of age, having celebrated her latest birthday this month. Born in Martin County, November 15, 1875, she was the daughter of William and Francis PATE. Preceding her in death was her husband, John ANDERSON. Mrs. ANDERSON was a member of the Mt Nebo EUB Church. Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Gladys BENHAM; a brother Charles D. PATE of Bargersville, IN; step-children, John ANDERSON of Sandborn, IN; Mrs. Mae Shaffer of Freelandville, IN; Mrs Pearl Hensley of Dugger, IN; Mrs Hazel Cunningham of Bloomington, IN; three grand children; four great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm in Newberry Methodist Church. Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. It should be noted that this was apparently, at least, her third husband. 1) Wylie ANDERSON who died; 2) Marion Floyd THOMAS who she divorced. Have not found any documentation of this third marriage to John except for this clipping, of which I have the original hard copy. Just one more little piece of the puzzel. Anyone help add more?
