They had 11 children. George Sr. was #7. He married Martha Lawrence (1779-1868) in 1798 in North Carolina, where apparently all of their 9 children were born. Therefore, he would have moved to Greene Co. Indiana, sometime after 1824. He was a minister in the Predestinarian Baptist Church for 60 years. Children were: John, James Black (also a minister), Elizabeth, Jane, Davis (also a minister), Abagaile, Hubbard, George Jr., and Martha. Martha Lawrence was supposed to be Indian, but I've no information on her pedigree, so I can't verify that. I do have a photo and she is very dark.
