Surnames: joiner/joyner Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Ci.2ADE/4780 Message Board Post: audrey hatcher (deceased) was married to john(johnny)franklin joyner the second. he was in the army when they married. her father was the warden at the columbus, georgia stockaid(prison), and they lived on the premises. audrey had a brother, perry. her mother, was called "hatcher" by nearly everyone. after she and johnny married they traveled while in the military, lived in tacoma, washington for awhile untill audrey became pregnant with their first child, john franklin joiner the third. they returned to columbus, georgia and lived with audreys mother on hamilton road. they later moved with hatcher to jones avenue, in columbus and had a second child, david eugene joiner. they moved to phenix city, alabama untill johnny (husband) became very ill and passed away. they had owned a restaurant on broadway in columbus, georgia, and after "hatcher" passed away, she and the boys kept the house on jones avenue. her brother perry owned casinoes, and they spent alot of time going to hi! s home, and he and audrey were very close. audrey is burried next to her husband and her mother in park hill cemetary, in columbus, georgia. if any of this sounds familure, or you know this family, please, contact me by email, it is so very important that i get all the information i can, as i have cancer and am working very hard to try and finish some sort of a family tree for christmas for the boys and one granddaughter, arin (david's child),due to the child not knowing much about her heritage, and most all things were lost in a fire that destroyed the home on jones ave, but son john had it liveable so that audrey did get to spend her remaining days there before her death.i am married to john the second (oldest son), who has a son by a previous marriage. please, if you think you have just the slightest bit of information, please email me, as the trail is very cold, and i do so want to leave arin something she can hold on to in the way of family. thanks
