Verna MITCHELL married William E. DEAN, 05 JUL 1918, in Vigo County, Indiana. It states it was the first marriage for both of them. Verna later married Delmar SPENCER and had at least four children. William was the s/o Wm. E. and Ella MC BRIDE DEAN... and was serving in the military in Plainfield, Miss. Is this the same DEAN family?The groom's father, Wm. E. (Sr.?), was deceased at the time and the mother of the groom was then named as Ella SHEPHERD. I'm wondering if Verna and Wm. divorced or whether he died soon and she remarried. I was unaware of this union! Verna was the d/o Theo and Sallie HUBBARD MITCHELL of Linton, Indiana.
