Looking for information on Elizabeth Jane SKINNER b. ca1835 KY......d/o Clark SKINNER b. 1794 KY and Lucinda "Susanna" ? b. 1812 KY. Elizabeth came to Greene Co.IN with her parents from Garrard Co.KY ca 1851. They settled in Beech Creek Twp. I believe that she married Thomas WALKER there in 1851. Also believe that they divorced sometime in the 1860's. I have conflicting info from Census info on a Elizabeth SKINNER living in the household of Alfred Sims 1870, then I found an Elizabeth in the household of Jackson Sims, also Alfred Sims living here, but also found one with an Elizabeth living in the household of David BROWN. These were both for 1880 and all of them in Beech Creek Twp. and on all the census info she is listed as divorced, but the age's vary. Is there more than one Elizabeth SKINNER in Beech Creek Twp.???? In the last 2 census she is listed as House keeping, so could she have been working in both of these households and taken on both census readings? Any information is welcome.
