Chas was born about 1876 around Milford, IN and married Dora B. _______. Dora was born about 1884 and died at age of 96 on April 9, 1980. Charles died April 4, 1928. >From the Greene county records it looks like they had the following kids while living in Greene Co.: 1.John William Defrees b. May 13, 1908 and Married Mary ______. The had a child named Ruth Marie Defrees: b. Dec. 16, 1930 2.Martha Blanche Defrees( b. Sept 7, 1915) married Charles Clifford Yancey. 3.Mary Defrees - a twin to Martha 4. Naomi Louise Defrees b. May 15, 1917 5. Charles Harry Defree( Feb. 13, 1922-June 24, 1987 who married Nancy June _______ who was born in 1927 and died Oct. 10, 1989. They had Deborah who marriedWilliam Edward Houser, George Jacob Defree who was born on June 1, 1959 and died the same day, and John Richard Defrees, b. Sept 5, 1960 6. William Edward Defrees b. May 13, 1925. There also lists a Harold Ernest Defrees who died Sept 27, 1913 and was 9 years old. Could he be from this family? I would appreciate any information on this family. Thank you

I believe I know some of this family. If these are the ones I think, the second wife of (1) John William is still living and is nearing 100 years old. The child of Mary and John (Ruth Marie) is also still living, right here in Worthington. Ruth is a wonderful person, is a widow and has several grown children, grandchildren, and I think great-grandchildren.
