United with the Methodist church some two years ago under Rev. RACY, but owing to feeble health has been unable to attend much, but since his last illness would say he was going home to his permanent home. He was the father of three children, of which two are living, his wife and one daughter preceding him to the better land, where our sufferings are no more. J. N.
