I have just discovered a grave in Castle Hill Cemetary which I had not know about. His name is Jeremiah Vailes 1835-1888. The only Vailes in Indiana that I know of during this time period were from my ancestor Lewis who was in Daviess Co. I had no knowledge of this cemetary before finding him so dont really know where it is but believe it is in Fairplay Township. Jeremiah is too old to be from Lewis so if related must be a nephew, cousin or someone near. I have never found te parents of Lewis and hope this might be a lead to finding him. I have just started the search today and it will be sometime until I will be able to get to an 1880 census. Is there anyone that could help me out there I would appreciate it. Also if there are other places in Greene Co that I might go to to find information I would appreciate it. Thank you for anything that might be a lead. Tom Mitchell
