Thank you very much for the lead. I didnt realize it was a free site and glad to hear of it but sad to say there is no Jeremiah Vailes his age on any census from 1850 on. I believe the next thing is to see for certain the dates are correct on the stone though I found it on Find a Grave. I didnt discover him until last night and it appears a lot of research is ahead. Does anyone have a list of wills for the year 1888?
