Nickerson, Aged 60 Years, Taken in Death After Long Illness" [Transcribed on December 21, 2007 by RLJ from microfilm of the original newspaper on file in the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene County Public Library.] The remains of Mrs. Will T. NICKERSON, who died at her home at Linton Saturday, October 17, were brought here for interment Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. NICKERSON'S maiden name was HAYWOOD, and she was born in Taylor Township, but her parents died when she was small and she was reared in the home of Mrs. Emma {A. (LESTER)}WEATHERWAX, of this place. She was married to W. T. NICKERSON, of Bloomfield, May 18, 1890. They were the parents of six children, five of whom survive. They are: Hoyt NICKERSON, Mrs. Charles BRANSCOM and Mrs. Thurston JOHNSON, all of Linton, and Arthur NICKERSON, and Mrs. Frank ROBERTSON, both of Detroit, Michigan. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Samuel B. SHERTZER, of this place, and one brother, Emanuel HAYWOOD, of West Terre Haute. In addition to eleven grandchildren there are many friends and relatives who will be shocked to learn of the death of Mrs. NICKERSON. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the United Brethren church at Linton with Rev. J. W. SETTLE officiating. The remains were brought to Bloomfield and interred in the Grand View Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. S. B. SHERTZER, Mr. and Mrs. C. H.
