I would tend to agree with Bob's assessment that she is the daughter of Elmer Lamb & Minnie Bridwell, first wife of Elmer. I did find a couple more pieces of info: The marriage of Epsy M. Lamb & Chancie W. Jackson is in the online index [Page 10, marriage098.pdf] for the 1920-1940 grouping. Accessing the actual record should confirm the parents of Epsy. Also, I found Epsy in the 1900 census, living with her grandparents. Details are: Census date: June 1, 1900; Enumeration date: June 7, 1900 Series T623, Roll 374, Page 78A, Dwelling 104, Family 106, Jackson Twp., East Precinct, ED 28, Lines 9-12 C. G. Lamb, 68, m, Head, born Oct 1831, married 46 yrs, Farmer, NC, NC, NC Martha A. Lamb, 67, f, Wife, born Aug 1832, married 46 yrs, children: 4 total, 4 living, KY, Ireland, VA Joyce Lamb, 31, f, Daughter, single, IN, NC, KY Epsy Lamb, 10, f, Granddaughter, born Aug 1889, IN, IN, IN Looks like there is a possibility that Minnie Bridwell Lamb could have died as the result of complications from childbirth with Epsy. Assuming the data is accurate, Epsy was born in Aug 1889 and Minnie died a month later in September 1889. Jerry Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
