WEAVER, POPCORN, IS DEAD-Was One of Lawrence County's Well-Know Citizens; Many Relatives In Greene County." WEAVER, one of Lawrence County's oldest residents, passed away at the home of his son, Thorn, near Popcorn, at 5 a.m. last Thursday, June 4, after an illness of six weeks, due to complications caused by advanced years. Mr. WEAVER was born April 13, 1841, and was aged ninety years, one month and twenty-two days at the time of his death. He was born near Leesville to Jacob and Elizabeth (SPEER) WEAVER, and had passed his entire life in Lawrence County. He was a farmer and had always followed this vocation since manhood. Seventy years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Polly KINDER, who passed away many years ago. Twenty years ago he was united in marriage to Mrs. Julia (ROBINSON) SNOW. Surviving are three sons, Samuel, Thorn and Henry WEAVER, all of Lawrence County, and one daughter, Mrs. Mary HAVENCRAFT, of Rushville; fifteen grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. A son and daughter passed away many years ago. Funeral services were held Sunday, June 7, at Bedford. Interment in the Weaver Cemetery.
