It's common knowledge that he married Clarissa Purdy on May 18, 1860; that he himself was born in November, 1835 from the 1900 Census and we even know the names of some of his children from the censuses. But WHO were his parents??? I don't know about you folks, but I sure hate having all that info and not knowing where to attach it. Maybe his mother's surname was Squire???
