Hudson. Based on the 1880 census, there are two possibilities of about the correct age, both in Jackson Twp. in Greene County [there may be others]. The two possibilities in Jackson Twp. are: James Hudson, age 13, son of John & Mary Hudson http://www.familysearch.org/eng/Search/census/household_record.asp?HOUSEHOLD_CODE=1880US_6178934&HOUSEHOLD_SUB=1&frompage=5 James Hudson, age 12, son of Jeremiah & Sarah Hudson http://www.familysearch.org/eng/Search/census/household_record.asp?HOUSEHOLD_CODE=1880US_6178960&HOUSEHOLD_SUB=1&frompage=5 I consulted with Greene County researchers Bob Jackson, Judi Burns and Mike Rankins and find that none of us have solid info on the parents of James H. Hudson, although there are some clues that it may be John & Mary Hudson. If anybody has solid info, please feel free to post a reply to the obituary on the Greene County message board.
