The daughter of Ed and Amanda Jane (COX) BEASLEY, she was born October 17, 1877. Her husband, Frank HUNTER, preceded her in death on January 30, 1951. Wife's name is Nora E ? Doan? My father was Lucien Garrold Royal, son of John Abner, born 1-22-1874, Indiana. Can not find any records on the other children..Think names maybe "Jimmy" and Jean who married a Schafer, and Donald. Found Military record of Lucien but nothing before that. I am not related. Just found this on the 1880 census of Greene Co., Center twp Dist. 304, image 18. Mary Royal, head, White Female, 39, widowed, keeping house, b. IN, KY, KY.Mary A. 12, John A. 6, these two attend school, and Minnie 4, all b. IN, TN (the father), and Indiana,(mother.) On the 1900 census: Also Center twp., Greene co., IN, Dist 24, image 3: John A. Royal is 38, white, Males, b. Jan. 1874, is 26, divorced,IN, In, In, is an Engineer, at a SAW MILL, can read and write, and speaks English. So, somewhere in the middle, he must have been married and had children. I was looking under John A, so under some other name, he might be found..---possibly just John.
