I'm afraid this bible wont be of much help concerning Lucy.It may not be of any importance but the gravestones for William and Eliza and two infant children are in the cemetary at Solsberry IN. of intrest is the stone for James M Daniel the stone says son of J.W. and M.E. Daniel his birth date is in 1852 and he died in 1853 My dad originally thought this boy was William E Daniels son, William E being the son of J.William ,William E was married to an Mary E Gardner but they didnt get married u! ntil 1859 so it would appear that James M was J William's son if that be the case then Eliza's first name started with an M could be Mary, Martha, etc .Does this help or just confuse things more? Also maybe you have some info that could clear up something on my side of the family ,J. William b Sept.22 1803 is my ggg grandfather , many family trees on the web have a William H Daniel with the same birth date as being a son of Nathaniel b 1784 this William would be a brother to The John b 1804 the one married to Luct Hite however a newpaper article from an Iowa newspaper about a Joseph Washington Daniel the oldest son of John and Lucy has a birth date for John as Feb.22 1804 so the William born Sept 22 1803 could not be John's brother since ther is only 5 months between them.As a side note many trees list Malinda as a daughter of Nathaniel but a record of the will for John Daniel b1785 d1853 in MO.lists Malinda Hite as an heir, this would tend to eliminate her as a daughter of N! athaniel. When you look at the census records for Shelby Co KY in 1810 and 1820 you can see that Nathaniel had no girls Malinda's age John b 1785 had no boys the age of the younger William and John .I beleive that the William b1803 was the son of the William Daniel listed in the 1810 census as being over 45 years old he had a boy in the correct columns in both 1810 and 1820 I think this could be the same William that is beleived to be Nathaniel's father and I beleive he could be John's father as well (Nathaniel b1784 John b1785)the problem is how do you prove it ? I would like to find out the relationships farther back .The william born 1760-1764 that died in 1828 in Shelby KY who was his father? Doing this research is both exciting and frustrating any help you can give I would apprecate and any I can give I certainly will. After all it would appear we are cousins. I thought maybe the research I was doing on Bruces in Dearborn county would give me some information on John but it has not. I see trees say he was born there. John and Jacob were definitely not brothers. Jacob, son of Henry son of James had one brother James who died young and one sister Rachel Bruce Swango Cheek Weber, who also came to Greene county. I see one tree on Ancestry World Tree that says John was the son of Charles and Catherine Walters Bruce. I don`t have any information one way or the other. The Bruces, Swangos and Walters intermarried in Dearborn, Gallatin county Kentucky and Virginia before that. The Walters connection, if this is true, might be one you might look into as I believe Jacob`s mother might have been a Walters. Three Bruces, James Henry and Amor, came to Dearborn county about 1798. All of Amors children are accounted for, missing a couple of James and don`t really know much about Henry`s children. If I come across anything about John Ill let you know. Terry Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The archived emails were checked by another list member. This is their reply: ++++I just checked your list archives. I do see the 4 e-mails in the archives, but there is no virus or trojan attached to them. All 4 contain only one line, which is a URL pointing to what is apparently some sort of gaming site. They do all appear to be spam, which other subscribers also alluded to. It appears to be the case that for some e-mail programs, it must try to automatically open the URL, which attempts to download something in Chinese. It would appear to be the thing that would be downloaded which could be a virus or trojan.+++++ The reason that Rootsweb only allows plaintext emails is so that no attachments can be sent via the list, you can get viruses etc. via attachments. So if anyone attempted to open the URLs they might get a virus or trojan. Donna
