Perhaps they went to Lawrence or Monroe Co Ind to marry or even out of state.A lot of people used to go across Ill or Ky line and marry. Checked Monroe Co from 1818-1920 non there either. On the census he was listed as Dan, on another doucment he was listed as Andrew and it could be Daniel.. He married Barbra Ellen Hewitt, born in IN aprox. 1860. That one day a family drove off the ferry and he spent a lot of time in the water rescuing them. As a result he died from pneumonia. I understand that there was a bridge built near where this happened, and it was named the HUFFMAN Bridge. Is there a picture of the bridge. I think that is was near Newberry.
