Any help would be appreciated.

Surnames: VEST ROWE LONG Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ci.2ADE/4776 Message Board Post: Is there anyone who has knowledge of where my grandmother and her parents are buried at Walnut Grove? They are grandmother Effie Jane Vest Rowe (died about 1920-21), her mother Lena Long Vest (died 1900), father Obadiah Vest (died 1933, brother John A Vest (died 1942). All four are in unmarked graves and trustee records do not indicate locations, only names of those interred. Hoping to locate someone who knew this family. who may still have an obituary or who might have attended the latter funeral. Effie's grandkids want to place a stone for her but want to know an exact location vs placing a stone wherever. Effie died while my father was an infant. He was raised my a paternal aunt so he knew little about his maternal side.

Does anyone have any information on Dr. Wm. Young? Living in Newberry Indiana by 1883. Thank you all, Cathy/Tennessee
My great-great grandparents were Thomas Courter b. 16 May 1834 Shelbyville County, Indiana d. 9 Mar 1889 Greene County, Indiana. His father was William Courter b. in Kentucky and mother: Nancy Emmitt, born in Kentucky. Thomas Courter's wife was Mary Jane Wilson b. Feb 22, 1840 in Springville, Lawrence County, Indiana, d. 3 March 1890 in Greene County. Her father was George Dillard Wilson b. 15 March 1814 in Greensburg, Decatur, IN d. Sept. 12, 1890, buried Lowder Cemetery. Anyone recognize the cemetery? Mary Jane's mother was Gula Elma Davis b. March 5, 1821 Greensburg, Decatur, IN d. Feb 12, 1894. buried Lowder Cemetery. As a child in the 40s, I remember going with my grandmother to decorate the family graves on "Decoration Day." Thomas and Mary Jane Courter had one of those 2-3 inch wide, tall monument markers at that time in the old Island City Cemetery. We called it Booker or Burger because it was near where the "Booker or Burger" family lived. Their nice two story house may be fallen in by now. The last time I saw it in the 90s the termites had eaten much of it up. Now, my questions: Those Courter tombstones are no longer there. Does anyone have a record of that cemetery? What can I do to have their graves recorded? Is anyone else researching this family? Erma Jean Loveland lovelande@acu.edu
My great-great grandfather, Bartlett Follum 1824-1903 (there are many variations of the last name; you can almost put all of the vowels in exchange for the vowels in the last night) homesteaded in Greene County, Indiana. One place was on the high ground before going into the marsh between Linton and Lyons, IN. My mother was born in the house he built there. His wife, CELIA RECTOR, d. in 1888 and is buried with her parents and their families at Samara Church, Dugger, IN. Bartlett married ISABELL BREWER. I havenot been able to find where Bartlett is buried. Does anyone know? He and his father, John W. Fullam, both homesteaded in Greene County; but both died in Greensburg, Decatur, IN. Are they buried there? Does anyone have information about the ancestors of these IN Follem, Follum, Fallem, Fallum? Erma Jean Loveland lovelande@acu.edu
