Also where and when she was born. I believe this was her first marriage. I was under the impression that their son Jacob's middle initial was J. as this is the initial I found on his marriage record to Elizabeth Miller. Unfortunately, I do not have much information on the Cooper family as my ancestors came from Elizabeth's third marriage to Ezekiel Harrington, but their divorce records show Jacob and Emily Cooper as her children living with them along with Eunice Simpson who is listed as her daughter. She had five more childred listed as Herrington's, including my ancestor Aldina Herrington. As you can see -- this family is a mess and I have reached a dead end trying to find Elizabeth's parents. Anything you have discovered about Elizabeth or her parents would be greatly appreciated. Linda Crosslen Burt Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 1. [INGREENE] BLEDSOE, GRAVES families
    2. To Jim Bledsoe: Do you have The Bledsoe Family in America--research by the late Banks McLaurin, Jr.? I'm a descendant of Juda (Judy) Bledsoe McCoy via my grandfather Greenwood. Her brother John Bledsoe became guardian of her children after the death of their father, Elijah McCoy. John and Juda were the children of David Bledsoe and Elizabeth Graves Bledsoe. ( These lines are difficult because of duplication of names. Here are some of my old notes: John bledsoe m. Nancy Evans April 7, l839; David Bledsoe m. Rebecca Evans March 25, l849. The Bledsoe & Graves families are east Tennesseans, but Bledsoe contemporaries are in Greene, Sullivan, and Owen counties at an early time. David Bledsoe l794-l877? and Elizabeth Graves had: John b. l820, William b. l829; David b l83l; Mary b. l827, Judith or Juda (mine) b. l822. My note says John was b. in east Tennessee June 5, l820. I haven't looked at these files in several years and I do send a caveat that my Judah, Judy, Judith had an aunt by the same name as I recall. Also, have you seen the Antioch Church history? ~~Dixie Kline Richardson, Indianapolis (native of Greene and former historian of Owen county) ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

I'm sorry, I neglected to give dates. This John was born 1820, died 1884. His wife Nancy was born ca 1820 and died 1877. The John buried at Samaria was this John's Uncle. Do you have dates on the two Johns buried at Lebanon? Thank you, James Bledsoe Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
