    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: edmorrill33 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.indiana.counties.greene/9811/mb.ashx Message Board Post: In 1860 George W. Loveall born in KY is 12 in his parent's(James G 31 b. KY and Nancy 35 b. KY) home in Highland Twp. In 1880 they are in Kansas and George W 33 has started his own family with Roxanna Owen 33 of Indiana. They are in Highland Twp in 1870. I have deduced that Cora Dell Loveall is the daughter of G W and Roxanna from analyzing the 1880 census records of Kansas for Loveall men born in KY with wives born in Indiana. G W and Roxanna married 27 Oct 1868 in Greene Co. are the most likely couple since they have an attachment to Highland Twp Greene Co. Cora Dell Loveall married Leonard Smith in Greene Co. 3 Dec 1895 from the Greene Co. marriage records. Cora Dell Loveall was born 1881 according to the 1900 census. Is she a child of George W. and Roxanna? G W and Roxanna had several children. I think one of them is James Loveall 22 also in the 1900 census of Greene Co. I don't know what happened to James Loveall or his son George W. after 1880 or George's other children. Any information would be appreciated. Author: BonnieDriver51 Surnames: Bedwell Classification: death Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.indiana.counties.greene/9809/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I came across a newspaper clipping that might be of interest to those researching the Bedwell family. JASONVILLE MAN DROWNS IN STRIP PIT A 29-year old RR 2 Jasonville, Indiana man drowned in a stripper pit north of Dugger Friday afternoon May 8, following a boating accident while he and a companion were fishing. Roy L. Bedwell was recovered from about 12 feet of water by Sullivan City firefighters at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the Antioch Pit, two miles north of Dugger. Sullivan County Sheriff Robert Hiatt said that Bedwell and Dorothy Aaron, 46, R2, Jasonville, were fishing at the pit from a boat which apparently turned over. Aaron told Hiatt she managed to hang on to the boat, but that Bedwell went straight down and was not seen again. The body was recovered by firefighters Mike Cox and Don Brock and by Ed Hill from the Dugger Town Marshal's Office. Sheriff Hiatt, Conservation Officer John Martin and Coroner Bill Tennis investigated the incident.
