My grandfather, Henry Hargis Wright, and his brother, Ollie Wright, went to Marion IN sometime around 1900. On 24 June 1905, Henry married Edith Rachel Jackson, who had brothers Otto and Harry Jackson. Edith was raised by people named Elkins. Henry and Edith had children Mildren b 1907 and Frederick b 1918. They lived at 1407 W 37th St. and 1314 W 39th Street. He was a butcher. Ollie was the sheriff of Marion in the 1940s. He married Lydia and had a daughter Mamie. Coming with them to Marion are half brothers and sisters Samuel and Sarah Butler, Lucinda Butler and husband Mr. Ball, who had a daughter Amanda Ball. My father is Frederick Wright and I was born in Marion in 1947. Is anyone related to any of these people? I have been trying to find their ggrandfather for 15 years going backward, and I suddenly realized that by going forward, I may find someone who might already have the info I've been looking for.
