*Greetings & Happy Holidays* I am looking for information on the surnames of HAMMOND and MINNICK in Grant Co (possibly in the Gas City area). In the death records i found a Carl MINNICK, born Jan 22, 1913 in Gas City and died in Marion on April 27, 1992. His parents were listed as Lawrence MINNICK and Grace HAMMOND. My main interest is in the HAMMOND name. I am hoping that there is some kind of a connection with Grace HAMMOND and my ggrandmother Lucy HAMMOND, b. May 27,1880 - d. Nov 04, 1936 Muncie, Ind. Lucy married (my ggrandfather) John M DAVIS, abt 1900, and they were divorced shortly after the birth of my grandmother Jessie DAVIS in 1905. Lucy then married James MINNICK, August 04, 1912 Delaware Co. I would love to find the names of Lucy's parents and other possible siblings she may of had. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
