Hello Listers! I am new to this list and I am hoping to get some assistance. I am seeking information on the family Honorable William M. Amsden. He was born July 28, 1857 in Jefferson or Jennings Co., IN. He married Sophie Dean on April 19, 1888 in Jefferson County. His parents were Caleb D. Amsden and Nancy Moncrief. I also know that Caleb's father was Amos. When William's mother died in April 1909, her obituary states her son, Honorable William M. Amsden was living in Grant Co. I am hoping that in the Grant Co. history somewhere it might tell more about William and where his father and father came from. I can't find anything on Amos Amsden. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Karen
