I am researching the Ballinger and Hillman surnames in Grant county. More specifically: Jacob Ballinger (b. 29 May 1853 Versailles, Darke Co., OH - d. 25 Apr 1918 rural Crawford, CO), m. 6 Sep 1881 Upland, Grant Co., IN to Malinda Hillman (b.26 Sep 1857 Upland, Grant Co., IN - d. 2 Feb 1943 Buhler, KS).
