Judy, If they were early settlers, you might take a look at a book just reprinted with updated information. The title is Grant County Indiana, The Making of a Township. Try an inter library loan, or order this book from the James Dean Museum, at Fairmount, IN. It's not cheap, but well worth gleaning. He was : supposed to be a Dr. (herbalist, actually). His son was John Richardson, : (md. Mary Kimbrough in OH and they lived in Grant Co., IN). Jacob's : grandson, through John was Henry Theodore Richardson, b. 1851 and d. 1939 : in Grant County. Henry's obit called both his father and grandfather : "early pioneers of Grant County (IN)". : If you have any kind of information on Jacob, John or Henry Richardson, I : would love to see it.
