Judy, If they were early settlers, you might take a look at a book just reprinted with updated information. The title is Grant County Indiana, The Making of a Township. Try an inter library loan, or order this book from the James Dean Museum, at Fairmount, IN. It's not cheap, but well worth gleaning. Hello list, did you see my posting for the VIRONET surname, in the book "Grant Co. IN Connections"? My great grandfather & his brother both immigrated to Gas City in 1889, from Jumet Belgium.
