    3. Hello subscribers; After I send a message to all of the lists that I manage, I get complaints that some persons are getting up to 4 copies...just remember, if you are subscribed to more than one of the lists that I manage, you will get a copy for each list you are subscribed to. This is why I always try to make REALLY GOOD subject lines. Also, I am trying something new. If subscribers to the T_YLER-L list get a double message, I'll know I failed. No need to tell me, I get a copy of every message that I send to the lists. <G> Sandra in Sacramento ++++++++++++++++++++ Hello, Jean; This worked like a charm. THANK YOU!!! When people tell me that they think they are the only subscribers out there, I tell them to submit their data, at least once a week if it is not too long. On the L_AWS list, the P_IERCE list and my I_NGRAM list, I did that and and got 15 pages and 10 pages and 5 pages of descendancy charts and if you figure about 60 persons per page, you can imagine I'll be years entering data. <G> Two little tricks I have learned reguarding maillist data.... A really good subject line is vital As you see above, I have corrupted the above surnames. Send a message to the PORTUGAL-L list looking for the name F_AUSTINO and got back 9 messages belonging to me. Now, if I corrupt the surnames, including the ones in my signature, me and others will not be going on for days looking at signatures. Oops, just realized that my opening has my D_uncan name in it. I'll be fixing that immediately. There is just so much to learn and so little time At 07:41 AM 3/10/98 -0600, you wrote: >S.E.T.
