EUREKA! Finally! You have a URIAH! This is all the information I have on MY Uriah INGRAM. INGRAM, Uriah b about 1814 in KY His parents were John and Sarah (nothing more known) Uriah came to Schuyler County Illinois about 1835, and married 1. Louisa , and had several children (I am unable to locate my notes on the many children they had together...about 7!). His second wife was Permelia BOX, whose family was also of Kentucky. (John Box of Knox County KY)" (Uriah wrote "born in CARNTUCKEY" on his 1863 marriage certificate) Uriah and Permelia had these children starting in 1864: Isabel, Francis E., Orville, Newton, Sofronia J., Sarah Alice, Louisa Etta May, and Jasper in 1884. This is the time Permelia died, and Uriah married her sister, Sarah Ann (Box) McHaley. (her husband died in 1879) Uriah was a farmer, and lived all around the Schuyler County area (Camden, Littleton), as well as the town of Plymouth, IL in the next county. If you have any information about the the John you are showing as Uriah's son in KY.. please let me know! Also.. do you have a county in KY for them? I just simply cannot find *where* in Cartuckey my Uriah is from. Thanks loads! Valerie <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Dear Valerie: I have an Uriah Ingram b1791, m Hannah Holder in 1809 in Randolph Co, VA/WV.
