Joseph Gaston Ingram according to tombstone was born in 1771 and died in 1871 at the age of 110. He is buried in the Ingraham Cemetary in Covington County, MS. He was supposedly married three time and had at least twenty children (possible even thirty). I theorized that he might have been born in Southampton, VA near Lake Gaston, but who knows. Others in family say that they thought he was from Tar Heel, NC. He moved to AL-Sumter County by 1840 and was living in Mississippi 1850. He was a methodist circuit preacher.
