Looking for the parents of Alexander Ingram, b. about 1704 (birthplace unknown) and d. about 1783 in Botetourt County, VA. He was married to Mary (maiden name unknown) and had the following children: John Ingram b. abt.1730 Botetourt Co, d. 1813 Patrick CO VA; William Ingram b. abt.1732 d. ?; Alexander Ingram b. abt.1736 Botetourt Co, d. ?; Ann Ingram b. abt.1738, d. ?; Mary Ingram b.abt.1740, d.?; and James Ingram b. abt. 1745 Botetourt Co, d. abt 1777 Patrick Co. I suspect Alexander Sr. emigrated from Scotland or Ulster, but I have no proof and have been unable to find his name on any passenger lists from 1720 - 1730.
