Am searching for the following family: James Wilson Ingram b 1780-1790 d 3/5/1846 Washington Co., AR m Nancy Children: James Nancy John Susanna William Willis James Sarah Lewis Elizabeth Mary James Wilson Ingram has been found in 1828 Bledsoe Co., TN land grants. His father might be William. James was in the 1830 census for Bledsoe Co., TN. In 1837 he is found in the Washington Co., AR tax list. From there on his family is in Washington Co., AR. I believe this Ingram family came from Johnston and/or Robeson Cos., NC prior to arriving in TN as the families he lived around (Luper, Cox, Monday, Brumble, Britt) are all found in those two counties. Prior to NC, it is very possible the were in Isle of Wight along with these other families. I have quite a lot of information on the children of James Wilson Ingram, but have been unable to locate his parents.
