Hello subscribers; Recently I sent out an announcement about wanting to do a ROOTSWEB GENEALOGY COOKBOOK. So far, I have been getting some very wonderful suggestions and ways and means to help Rootsweb. Rootsweb has already given me their permission to proceed with the cookbook plan and now I am waiting to hear from several publishers. One advertises that they will do it all, layout, bind, print, advertise, sell and send the check to Rootsweb. They are the publishers that charm me the most because it will not cost us one single penny. It may only pay 10% of the profit from the cookbook, but as far as I am concerned, it is the publishers money that we are getting 10% of, and that means we get 100% of the money. Typical female thinking huh? Anyway, when I saw Brian's message this evening, I thought it might explain some of why so many of us listowners are dedicated to doing something.
