I remember a query regarding a Tabitha Ingram, but I did not save it. As a result, I am posting this Tabitha Ingram, James M. Ingram, and Francis P. Ingram, etc., data to this list in the hope that it will be useful. I am a long-time and serious Ingram researcher, so I usually take a quick look at the Ingram data in whatever secondary resource I am using at the time. Recently, I have been researching my Sims/McDowell lines and ran across the following Tabitha Ingram data in a compilation of implied marriages in Chester Co SC based on various court records, etc. In summary, the following is what I saw: Based on Chester Co SC equity records: (1) James M. Ingram married Tabitha Ingram, daughter of Francis P. Ingram, in 1853. (2) Robert Ingraham married Mary Shaw, widow of John Shaw, in 1825. (3) Francis Ingram married the widow, Elizabeth Thorne McDowell, in 1836 or 1837. (4) John W. Ingram married Margaret Ingram in 1852. (5) Richard Ingram married Margaret Cowsart in 1863. Based on Chest Co SC probate records: (1) Tabitha (Bitha) Ingram married Joseph B. Hughes in 1855 or 1852. (2) Sarah J. Ingram, Tabitha's sister, the daughter of Francis P. Ingram, married Lieut. Robert W. Crawford in 1862. (3) Nancy Eliza Ingram married Charles W. Roper in 1829. (4) Eliza Ingram married ______ Roper in 1840. (5) Tilman Ingram married Jane A. Louisiana Gooch in 1843. (6) ______ Ingram married Nancy Turner in 1840. The dates were not consistent and I have no explanation for this. Also, there were more Ingram marriages implied in the various records compiled, but I did not photocopy any pages without Tabitha's name, nor did I attempt to verify any of the data that the author presented. As is clear, there were two Tabitha Ingrams in Chester Co SC at the same time (1853 and 1855), or one Tabitha who married twice rather quickly. Hope some of this helps someone. Franklin
