Seeking parents of Benjamin Ingraham born ca 1776 died in Naples, Ontario County NY on 26 June 1831 (or 1851 depending on how one interprets weathered stone) he married Johanna Treman on 2 August 1798. Their son Chauncey Fathergill Ingraham is my 2nd great grandfather. Chauncey was born in Ontario County, NY on 4 September 1815, and died in Canandaigua, Ontario County, NY on 6 February 1901. He married Polina E. Clark, the daughter of James B. Clark (1792-1868) and Abigail (1796-1847). Polina died in Canandaigua on 13 March 1901, and is buried with her husband and parents at Academy Cemetery in Canandaigua, NY. The children of Chauncey and Polina were: 1. James 1847-1848 2. Mary M. ca 1850 m. H.C. Hemenway 3. George W. born 12 April 1851 in South Bristol, Ontario County, NY, died 16 December 1933 in Coachella,Riverdale County, CA, married Mary C. Davis. 4. Melvina A., born ca 1852 married Abram B. Peck 5. Hiram C., born 23 July 1854 in Academy Ontario County, NY died on 27 June 1917 in Phelps, Ontario County, NY. He married Georgia Wilcox the daughter of Isaac Wilcox and Mary Susan Owens. Their children include: a. Warren I. Born 1884 died 15 April 1905 b. Ivan C., born 14 April 1885 died 16 May 1958 c. Edith M. born in 1887 died 15 November 1912 d. Paulina E. (Lina), born 27 June 1893 (my grandmother). Died 12 August 1967 e. Murray Hiram, born 17 December 1895, died 4 November 1973. And f. Elsie M. born 28 February 1900 died 6 March 1984.
