I am descended from their son George Smiley Allcorn and Dorothy Susan Hall. Is it really true that Joseph was 61 before he had his first child and 90 when he had his last. With the dates in your original message, he was 110 when he died.     3. Hi Mark, I just subscribed to this list a week ago, and am amazed to have a 'cousin' from my elusive Ingram line crop up so fast. I share your line to a brother of Peter's, John Ingram II. On your Peter I have a death date of 8-15-1832, that he married Elizabeth Taylor on 2-1-1774 at Swedes Church, Wilmington (Delaware), they lived at West Bradford and East Bradford, Chester Co., PA and had children John, Sallie, Mary, Joseph, Hannah, Elizabeth, Alice, Susan, William. I do have a question for you. Where did you find the information back to Hugh Ingram? I have the same information, plus alot of details, and because I inherited the info I'm wondering where it came from. I'm looking for some proof of John being the son of Arthur d. c1702-1714. Debbie

    3. Wonderful! You have just given me a new branch! I have been researching my Simpson ancestors in Hardeman Co., and recently learned of Needham Ingram and Nancy King. Then I found a King genealogy (at http://members.tripod.com/~loupero/michaela.htm) which traced back to the immigrant Michael King. But until now I haven't learned anything about the Ingrams. Anything you can send me about the families you mention, including sources, would be greatly appreciated! I notice your last name is Simpson. Are you descended from Needham and Nancy? Their daughter Mariah married William Simpson, and they named their first son after Mariah's parents: Needham King Simpson, who is my GG-GF. I know a fair amount about these families if you're interested. Also, there is a book tracing William's line back to his immigrant GF. Let me know. Thanks!
